Yogi Bhajan
Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini Yoga to the West in 1968. He taught over 8,000 classes and inspired thousands of people to keep up and live in their excellence.
Yogi Bhajan (Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji) was a master of Kundalini Yoga, a spiritual teacher, and the chief religious and administrative authority for the Ministry of Sikh Dharma in the Western Hemisphere. He was an individual of remarkable insight, powerful energy, and an unwavering commitment to global healing, peace, and spiritual awareness.
During his lifetime, Yogi Bhajan traveled across the world sharing the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. He was the first to publicly share the ancient technology of Kundalini Yoga in the West. When Yogi Bhajan arrived in the West in 1968, he announced that he had come to create teachers, not to gather disciples. Crusading tirelessly to educate, uplift, and enlighten all whom he met, he called himself a humble postman.
His message was: It is your birthright to be healthy, happy, and holy.
His motto: If you can’t see God in all, you can’t see God at all.
His credo: It’s not the life that matters, it’s the courage that you bring to it.
His challenge to students: Don’t love me, love my teachings. Become ten times greater than me.
